Residents of a village in Spain remained isolated in the last month because of snow. Summer but living in a mountain paradise



The 20 inhabitants of a small village in the Picos de Europa mountains in northern Spain are isolated for 29 days due to heavy snowfall, their only way to supply the helicopter, according to the portal.

"We are desperate because running out of supplies for humans and animals," said Santa Lopez, a native of Tresviso, in Cantabria.

Whenever people hear the sound of approaching helicopter through the snow-covered slopes, breathe a sigh of relief. "They just came and brought us essential products: bread, fruit, milk, vegetables," says Lopez.


Isolation took them back in time the inhabitants of Tresviso, when "snow walls" were commonplace in winter. "It's the first time in 25 years that we have paved the way it is so bad," said the farmer Feliciano Campo. "Back in the days when Tresviso was completely isolated in the winter," he added.

This situation for residents of Tresviso was compounded by the fact that their vehicle Snow removal is blocked five kilometers from the village. So, until the snow melts on the road leading to Tresviso, the villagers will try to decurce how in these circumstances.
