MSI has introduced a miniature desktop that will hit the market in late somewhere. The new unit is called cubic MSI is a mini computer that uses an Intel Broadwell in a very small enclosure.
Cubi MSI has two memory slots (supporting up to 8GB RAM capacity), mSATA slot for an SSD and space for a drive of 2.5 inches. The unit has dimensions of 4.5 × 4.4 × 1.4 inches and will be available in black and white.
The company will provide more options for the unit processor:
Celeron 3250U
Pentium 3805U
Core i3-5005U
Core i5-5200U
Other features include four USB 3.0 ports, Ethernet, HDMI, Mini DisplayPort, headphone jack, WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0. The system supports Windows 8.1 operating system but it is unclear whether it will ship with it preinstalled.
MSI positioned as a versatile device that can be used as one for home or business tater with support for Intel vPro technology.
