Updates to Windows 10 will be free even for pirated copies



Microsoft said it will offer free update in Windows 10 Windows for any user even if they run a pirated copy of the operating system.

In an interview with Reuters, head of Microsoft's operating system, Terry Myerson explained in China as Microsft will be "updated any computer that can run the operating system, original or not, to Windows 10.". This initiative is an attempt to restore users users running a pirated copy of Windows older versions legally.

Myerson did not specify whether the update will be offered to users in China, which created controversy on the Internet. According to The Verge, good news for all users of the operating system, from any location, using a purchased version or pirated Microsoft explained that any user can upgrade to Windows 10.

"We believe that over time, customers will realize the value of intellectual property of Windows and it will make use of the system legetime children" replied Microsoft.
The company had already announced that upgrading to Windows 10 will be free in the first year of its launch strategy aligned with that of Apple. To do this, maybe it is normal for this update to be free - even for users who are using a pirated version of Windows 7 or 8.

According to the latest information, Microsoft will provide users a final version of Windows 10 this summer, as announced earlier.
