Flag of New Zealand is similar to that of Australia, the latter having two extra stars. Also, there are differences in the colors and the number of corners of the star.
New Zealand flag is blue with the flag of the UK in the upper left quadrant and four-star five-pointed red surrounded by a white border centered in the outer half of the flag. The stars represent the Southern Cross constellation.
Flag of Australia is all blue, with the upper left corner of Union Jack, and under it, the Star Community of Nations which is white and has seven corners.
Flag of Great Britain appears on the flags of several colonies, territories or dependencies former state, including Australia, New Zealand, Niue, Fiji, Tuvalu and the Pitcairn Islands.
