How octopus hunt? Filming incredible that contradicts everything I knew about the behavior of these molluscs (VIDEO)

Crabs are a common prey of octopus, frequently chasing them in the submarine. But a recently published video-sharing platform YouTube video captures the moment when an octopus use a unique way to catch crabs: hunting on land.

In the clip duration approx. 50 seconds, the octopus can be seen shooting out of the water and throwing himself on a crab that move the stones around a small natural pond shore. Skillfully avoiding crab claws, octopus catch their prey closely and withdraws it in water to devour it.

The scene was filmed by the user Porsche Indrisie in Yallingup, Western Australia State.
