Two bears in Russia, sent to rehab in Romania - VIDEO


Two bears alcoholics who lived in difficult conditions in the last 20 years, in Sochi, will soon get the chance at a new life and be transported to a sanctuary which is in Romania, informs bbc.com.

This month, a Russian court ruled that the two bears - two males - must be seized from their master, who keeps a very small cage, dirty, behind a restaurant in Sochi. Animals, one of which is blind, became dependent on alcohol, as visitors often gave them such beverages in the last 20 years, says news agency Tass.

The court ruling will become effective in March. Currently still bears live in the same cage and need transport document must be issued by authorities in Sochi.
