Researchers say they have found most often reason couples divorce

Marriages are often through a divorce if their wives are those who fall ill and are diagnosed with a serious illness, as wives can not cope with these difficult situations, according to a study by Iowa State University, inform dailymail.co. uk.

Researchers have found that the divorce rate is six percent higher if they get sick wife is compared to situations where they remain healthy.

However, the health of the spouses did not influence the risk of divorce for couples monitored.

In this study, scientists monitored the 2701 marriage over almost two decades. At baseline, at least one partner in each couple had to be aged over 51 years.

By the end of the study, 32% of divorced couples monitored and 24% of them one partner widower or widow.

Divorce was more frequent in younger couples and deaths more common in older couples.

Amelia Karraker, a professor at Iowa State University, coordinator of the study, says that diseases often put their fingerprint on couples serious, mainly because of financial reasons, and can lead to divorce.

Wives who are healthy are often the primary care provider in torque and assume sole responsibility for dealing with household tasks. In many cases, they are also the only ones who bring money into the house.

Also, quality health care services is a major factor.

Wives are often less satisfied with the medical care they receive from their husbands.

Men, especially the elderly, have not been educated to provide health care services in the same way that women were educated.

Other studies have shown in the past that women and married men have a better physical and mental health.

On the other hand, led by Amelia Karraker study shows that diseases before they put women at risk of losing those medical benefits brought by marriage.
