Why do birds sing?



Birdsong is one of the most beautiful sounds of nature.

Birds out these sounds to communicate with each other in principle. For example, a hen chicks make sounds that warn of danger.

Some birds make sounds to announce an event, as does the cuckoo when spring comes.

When wild birds migrate at night, they cry. These cries keep stray birds flock together and help to return to the group.

The language of birds is different from our language, to express ourselves we must learn a code, when birds do instinctively.

In one experiment, for example, pups were separated from males and females, not to hear the sounds made by them. When increased, chickens were able to draw the same sounds as the chicks grew with their mothers!

This does not mean that birds can not learn how to sing. In fact, some birds can learn songs from different bird species.

If a sparrow is brought into a gru canaries, it will endeavor to sing like a canary.

And do not forget the parrot that can mimic sounds they hear.

The same type of bird song sounds different in different parts of the world. This shows that birds do not rely solely on instinct, but also learn when it comes to song.
