Confirmed today that HTC One M7 phone owners will not receive the update to Android 5.1, it will be offered only to devices One M8 and M9 One.
According to the company, M7 One with Sense will not get Android 5.1 but Google Play edition of the device will receive the new version of the operating system and M7 One main problem version is even custom Sense UI interface.
Several device users are upset; Android 5.1 is a maintenance release that corrects several problems Google Android 5.0.
HTC One M7 was launched in February 2013 and arrived on the market in March 2013. Google Play Edition device was announced in March 2014 and, apart from the lack Sense interface is the same device.
